Lizzie Alblas is a writer, editor and publisher.

She holds a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Nottingham, and is currently an MA Publishing student at York St John University. Her work has appeared in Thin Veil Press, Mslexia, Swim Press, Dear Damsels, and One Hand Clapping. Two of her poems were longlisted for the 2024 Mslexia Women’s Poetry Competition.

She is also the Founding Editor and Publisher of Apricot Press, an online literary press publishing the work of emerging writers.

When she’s not working or writing, Lizzie can be found reading poetry and fiction, watching films, and attending to the whims of an orange tabby cat.
